Hunger

 

Not everyone who is hungry is longing for food.

Some hunger for companionship.

Some yearn for physical touch.

Some require nothing more than conversation.

Some want love.

Some lack attention.

Some simply need to know things will be okay.

Some seek knowledge.

Some desire peace.

Some crave consistency.

 

No matter what I hunger for

she brings me a sandwich.
